My UX Journey

Storytelling to UX

Growing up in a culture rich with storytelling, I have always seen television as a powerful way to gain new perspectives and understand complex human experiences. The ability to step into someone else’s shoes and see the world through their eyes fascinated me, which led me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Television and Film Studies. I was eager to explore how storytelling techniques evoke emotions and engage audiences, deepening my understanding of visual narratives and their impact.

During the pandemic, I reflected on how stories connect people and shape experiences, which led me to discover UX Design and attain a Master’s degree in it. I realized that storytelling and user experience share a common foundation in empathy and communication. With my background in storyboarding and visual communication, transitioning to UX Design felt like natural progression. It allowed me to apply my passion for narrative to crafting meaningful digital experiences that guide users seamlessly, while solving real-world problems.
